This viscometer bath is used to maintain the correct constant Temperature for estimating Kinematic Viscosity of Oils & Petroleum products. In this type of bath various viscometers may be fixed as an internal part of bath. The bath is rectangular in shape. Inside tank made of Stainless Steel. On two sides toughened glass window is provided for full visibility of objects. The bath is controlled by an electronic relay & contact Thermometer. Temperature range 5°C above room temperature to 100°C Accuray ± 0.1C. Stirring is done by a F.H.P. Elect. Motor stirrer. It is provided with viscometer Tube holders & stainless Steel cover.

These Viscometers are designed for viscosity tests of petroleum products which reacts as newtonian liquids at the test temperature. They confirm to requirements of IP 70. Two adaption of Redwood Viscometer are available. No.2 for liquids having Redwood flow 20 seconds to 2000 seconds. The complete outfit comprises stainless steel bath having drain plug with Elect heating arrangements (suitable to operate at 220 volts 50 Hz AC mains) or Gas Heating arrangements with tap, silver plated oil cup with precisions stainless steel jet, ball valve, cover, thermometer clip, stirrer and suitable stand with leveling screws.

Melting Point Apparatus Model 935 with 3 1/2 digit LED display is designed for accurate measurement of melting points and for checking the melting range of the solid samples. The apparatus consists of a silicon oil-bath of about 200 ml capacity, covered with a Teflon cover with 5 holes, fitted with a special type of oil immersion heater and having three holes for holding the capillaries, one for boiling point tube and one for the thermometer.
